Professional Background
Graduated in Law from the University of Lisbon and Master in Public Administration (IDP), he began his career as an independent lawyer in Portugal, focusing on Corporate and Business Law.
He has participated in the legal structuring of company acquisitions, asset deals, and international public-private partnerships (PPPs).
Between 2002 and 2003, he served as legal advisor to the Governments of Angola and Bulgaria, supporting foreign investment projects in the infrastructure sector and providing strategic advisory services.
In 2004, in Spain, he mediated international investment projects in the telecommunications sector.
Since 2005, based in Brazil, he has coordinated Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) projects for multinational companies and trading operations in healthcare, infrastructure, real estate, banking, entertainment, media, oil & gas, and agribusiness — in both public and private sectors.
Since 2008, he has been an associate at Dinis Lucas & Almeida Santos – Law Firm (Lisbon, Portugal).
Since 2016, he has been a partner at Dinis Lucas & Pedro Fernandes – Law Firm (São Paulo, Brazil).
He regularly participates in infrastructure investment projects in Angola, Brazil, and Portugal, bringing extensive experience in negotiation, corporate structuring, and government relations.
He currently divides his time between Brazil and abroad, mainly Portugal and China.
